| For fifty years, the Boston Street Railway Association has fulfilled its cornerstones of operation - history, publications, and preservation. Founded around the preservation of Type 5 car #5706, the association has grown from a founding group of nine to an international membership body of over 900 - and growing! As we celebrate all year long, we have several special events planned in 2009. Below are details about each of them.
