The Boston Street Railway Association has a long and notable history in the field of high-quality transit history books and publications. Along with our bimonthly news magazine, Roll Sign, the BSRA regularly issues Bulletins, which are given free to all active members, covering public transit topics in Boston and New England.

Our most recent Bulletins include 1997's "Tremont Street Subway: A Century of Public Service," and our biggest book yet, 2003's "Streetcar Lines of the Hub - The 1940's," written by our President, Bradley H. Clarke. Both of these titles are still available for purchase through our mail-order catalogue There are several additional titles currently in development and production, which we aim to publish within the next two years.
